Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for High Arches I am on my feet all day and I have high arches and over pronate, causing problems with my hips and knees. Had one set of inserts, that was two years old, that I moved from shoe to shoe, but decided to buy three this time and keep them in my boots, athletic shoe and my clogs. They are very cushy, and definitely put my feet in the right position, and as a result my knees and hips are starting to feel better. I recommend these highly to anyone who has the same issue. I bought the 5-7 size, and I am a 61/2 and had to cut down around the top and skinny side using my old insert as a guide. Easy to do and no fraying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it claims to do and more! I bought these yesterday and I knew immediately that they were delivering what I was looking for. Arch support and maximum cushioning with great comfort. They were the perfect fit under my foot and in my shoes. Specifically, the support lined up just right, under my foot and therefore did not cause any type of pain in the ankle, knee, hips, or back. I have bought custom orthotics from many vendors as well as over the counter, so I've tried more than I can count. That's why I knew so quickly if these were going to work, or not. Usually there is the need to sacrifice comfort somewhere in order to get overall support. No compromising here.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Take up too much room I tried these in my Brooks Ghost running shoes. My shoes are a half size bigger and they still took up way too much room. My heel wouldn't fit snug even after I tied them the special way to pull as much of the back of my shoe in. The top of my foot was squished in too. I did 2 runs with them and the arch support was good (I have a high arch), but it brought the other issues listed above and I decided not to use them again. They bring a significant amount of extra weight to the shoe as well. I wouldn't use these for running. Maybe they would do better in a shoe with a deeper heel and for walking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You get your money's worth I bought these insoles as an alternative to buying completely new shoes. I am currently training for a marathon and obviously footwear is my biggest concern when I am on my feet for hours every day. These insoles made me feel like I was bouncing the first time I tried them our- in a good way! The "med-high" arches maybe be a little bit high (I always thought I had very high arches but these dig into my arches a little bit). Overall I would say that this is a good product for only about twenty dollars. If you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on new running shoes, get these and just replace the insoles!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent and durable I've been using these products for years. I had a knee injury (both knees) at age 13, and after physical therapy my doctor recommended I try arch supports to help deal with the impact my very high arches were having on my knees. These insoles are wonderful. The arches are comfortable and the insoles have excellent padding. The insoles hold up well if you move them from shoe to shoe, and cut easily if you need to trim them to fit. I have a pair in my hiking boots, one in my regular walking shoes...The only real tip I have is to remove the basic padding that comes in tennis shoes. These insoles will fit over standard shoes insoles, but often times that makes the shoes too tight. These insoles provide more than enough cushion on their own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing comfort! These made a huge difference in my comfort while standing all day in a hard floor. However, I have not yet determined how long they last but I am certain they will need to be switched out at least once or twice a year depending on how they are used. But they are affordable and are an easy fit into the proper sized shoe. Keep in mind when you buy these you should try them in your shoes as they can make a big difference in how your shoe fits. I wear a size twelve and they fit great without the inserts. When I have the insert in they make the shoe a bit snug so make sure your shoe size has room for the new insoles. Overall a great product and it makes a dramatic difference in how you feel when being on your feet day to day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Familiar with this sort of product. I purchased a high end pair of running shoes from New Balance and was fit with the insole they carry which has good arch support. New Balance shoes have too wide a heel and never fit comfortably. I kept the soles and am using them in a pair of winter boots. I had to return the shoes and went to Dick's Sporting Goods where I was fit with Brooks GTS. The companion Sof Sole Arch Plus Insoles I bought have a better arch than NB brand and very good cushioning where my old pair had none. One item you Dick's might consider carrying is lambs wool. People sometimes have enough difference in the length or width of their two feet to need a bit of cushioning in the toe or elsewhere. Ballet stores do carry it, but most people do not know it works so much better than cotton or tissues.
