Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shoe but seems a little light weight I have worn the Nike Pegasus for many years now. At one time they deleted the model but started to make them again. For that is was glad. Through the years they have made some subtle changes - some that are great but seems that they are not as sturdy as they used to be. They seem to be more light weight - probably near to being a racing shoe that long distance. For this particular pair the shoe tapers in the back of the sole. I wonder what the purpose of that is. I do like the soft upper part of the shoe and the way the shoe laces up. Nevertheless I will continue with the Pegasus and recommend it. I don't think this shoe would be good for a heavy runner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous all around shoe with first class running elements for an Achilles rupture/rehab I ruptured the left Achilles tendon in January and am rehabbing now. I needed a pair of shoes/sneakers to begin walking/rehab that had high heel lift/toe drop (these are a ten), soft cushioning (these are a five) with support/freedom for the Achilles tendon. The Pegasus by Nike meet these requirements, are stable and have appropriate flex for me. In theory, I could run 4-5 miles a day in these, so for walking and rehabbing the Achilles , these are incredibly comfortable and supportive. The Pegasus is the result of Nike research and partnering with world class runners, is a very highly rated shoe (in the top ten of many reviewers) and is reasonably priced as a running shoe, although more expensive than a traditional "big box" retail sneaker. I figured, I only have two legs/feet and with the Achilles rupture, it was time to spend some money on something that really met my health and rehab needs. This is about as close to "custom" as you can get, Nike makes a variety of running shoes in a variety of "drop" "cushioning" "flexibility" and "support'. Spend some time figuring out what your specific needs are and then spend the extra to meet them. You will be happy you did. These are great shoes..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cheap marketing was excited for the release of this shoe, however when they launched i did not like any of the colors. the nike ID was an option so i made an all black pair. paid extra 20 dollars, waited 3 weeks for them to be delivered from china and a day after they finally arrived i see nike released an all black option. just why nike? as far as the shoe goes, the changes from last years model arent good. the midsole and bottom remains unchanged but the upper is much thinner/cheaper and is very loose. the tongue is canted off to the side and feels wonky. save some money and pick up the 35s if you are on the fence

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great improvement from the 35s In my opinion Nike has made some great improvements to the classic peg. They kept the sole/bottom the same, but made some changes to the upper. The new upper is more breathable and hugs the foot like a glove. The shoe feels lighter than the 35s and not as bulky. On hot summer runs my 35s were usually soaked with sweat and took a couple of days to dry out. I've been running in 90+ degree days in the 36s and I do not have this problem. Also i did not like the tongue in the 35s and I am glad the Nike as shorten the tongue so it doesn't rub against my ankle. Overall, A+ for a daily trainer shoe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought these for my son, he wears them about 5 times and a hole has worn in the fabric and the black tread on the bottom has come off. Dicks customer service was awesome. They refunded my money and gave me a discount to reorder them and free shipping. Another week of wear and the tread is coming off again. Obviously something is wrong at Nike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable! I had bought a pair of 35s and they were good shoes but I wanted to try out the new 36s and I loved the way they fit and the design I liked more than the 35s. I ended up buying both black and the gray ones and use them for work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its good Pegasus Right so, I had Pegs 34, 35 and now 36. The legacy continues as this is the every day training shoe for me. Pegs 35 was running small so I had to go half a size up but Pegs 36 are running true to the size. They are definitely lighter and have less cushion than Pegs 35 but so far it doesnt feel super bad. I have put 50 miles already and they feel good, a bit bouncy but still good. Good value for the buck.
